SSP Shyam Khatri kept in association with TIA gold seizure
Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on Sunday caught Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) Shyam Khatri from police headquarter for charged incorporation in a 33-kg gold pilfering case. He was caught today in relationship with 33.5 kilograms of pilfered gold that was seized from Gaushala in the capital some days back for sneaking the yellow metal from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The CIB had seized 33 kg gold on January 5 in perspective of a tip-off. SSP Khatri, who was situated at TIA was summoned to the headquarter refering to security slips. An anomalous state source in the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police certified that SSP Khatri was caught tonight from the Police Headquarters. The CIB caught Khatri in perspective of the declarations recorded from other charged who were held in the same connection.Dil Bandhu Thapa of Morang, Santosh Kafle of Janakpur and Gopal Bahadur Shahi of Banke were caught close by the gold on January 5.Likewise, the police have starting at now caught Shree Narayan Yadav and Raj Kumar Dhakal of TIA Customs Office in course of the examinations.
